Screens
How to avoid addiction?
1. Admit you have an addiction. If you get angry or inattentive when you can't check your emails or text messages, if you're anxious about being able to get online, or if the time spent in front of a screen stops you from living a normal life, you're addicted. Admit it!
2. Set yourself rules: only check your emails or Facebook twice a day, for example.
3. Get a hobby or an interest. Get involved with teams, clubs, sports, music, dancing, or singing. Go for a run with a friend or exercise. Sleep instead of thinking of the internet, your game console or your phone
4. Do your homework first. You will feel great knowing that you did your homework early. Read books or research at the library instead of browsing Wikipedia for information.
5. Help with meals. Your parents will be happier that you're helping out with dinner or dishes than chatting online. Cook or bake something one night for the family.
6. Hang out with friends. Plan a trip to the cinema, mall, or park. And talk face to face with your friends!
7. Plan family nights. Eat dinner as a family on the table and plan games afterwards. Your family can remind you to let go your screens (phone, computer, TV, etc.).
8. Limit your computer time. Make sure not to turn it on too many times a week. Try keeping your laptop closed when you are not using it. Or use the school's or library's computer: you won't be tempted to look at certain websites and they have a limit on how long you can stay online…
9. Call people instead of instant messaging or sending text messages.
10. Don't go on addicting sites such as Facebook, YouTube, etc.

His life is filmed through thousands of hidden cameras, 24 hours a day and broadcast live around the world. Everything is fake: all the people Truman knows are actors, the town of Seahaven is a movie set built under a giant dome, even the weather is controled by machines.
However, Truman slowly starts to react in unpredictable ways and realizes that things might not be what they appear to be...
